Cheap lighting offer is bright idea for Archway businesses

Businesses in Archway are being invited to slash their electricity bills and energy use with a cut price lighting offer.

Until the end of March, small and medium-sized businesses and organisations in the Archway Low Carbon Zone can save 80% on energy efficient lighting. The new fluorescent tubes use 40% less electricity than the older ones typically used.

The first lights were put in this month (February) at local businesses Absolute Print and Metro Food and Wines.

Hak Huseyin,Chair of the Archway Town Centre Management Group said

" Having installed the lights at Absolute Print I am delighted, as this was part of our three-year CO2 reduction plan to change our existing lighting to the T5 energy efficient lighting. Of course the added bonus of reducing our lighting bill by 50 per cent is brilliant!"
