The run is in aid of the Care of Older People appeal, which will improve the care and facilities available to elderly patients.  

Runners are asked to raise sponsorship for their efforts in taking part. This year, Virgin Active is sponsoring this much-loved event which draws people from all over London to run (or walk) round Hampstead Health in the name of charity.
